The Happy Wanderer Village is situated in a quiet street, an easy 300 m stroll from the beach. It's away from the bustle, yet easy to find direct off Boat Harbour Drive - the road into Hervey Bay. Public transport picks up from outside the gate, as do the RSL and Boat Club courtesy buses. Tour companies as well, of course.
You'll be able to get everything you need within about a two kilometre radius of the park. A major supermarket is close by as well as all the shops in the Torquay village area, including bakers, butcher, newsagent and pub.
Within easy reach you will also find bowling clubs, a variety of restaurants and take aways, sailing clubs and sporting facilities. Nearby, as well, you'll find catamaran and jetski hire. Also tennis, squash courts & skating rink. Golf clubs are a short drive away.

Getting there:
Hervey Bay is a 45 minute direct flight from Brisbane or an 85 minute direct flight from Sydney. Shuttle bus meets all flights and is a 10 minute transfer to Happy Wanderer Village. Alternatively 3.5 hours drive north of Brisbane. All coaches call in to Hervey Bay at Bay Centro, and the Taxi would be about 10 minutes.
