"Very nice hotel with spotless and spacious rooms and a very good buffet breakfast - great for those who like their coffee with western-style food in the morning. Helpful English-speaking staff who can arrange transport to Shilin and other places to see around Kunming. Unbeatable price for this standard and level of service in China.
Very well located, many restaurants of various kinds at walking distance, next to a large and pleasant park where old Yunnanese sing, play Mah-Jong or exercise.
The only negative point is the swimming pool, which doesn't get enough direct sunlight, and is consequently freezing cold (I was there early October and couldn't use the pool despite a very warm weather in Kunming).
I highly recommend this hotel to those travelling with children and/or who like efficient service and care about hygiene. " - Anonymous
