Child Policy:Accommodation at Harbour Side Resort is charged on a `per apartment per night` basis. Therefore, any extra guests (including children) that are not covered in the advertised rate are an extra $25.00 per person, per night. Babies in cots are free of charge. Staff were warm and friendly. Allowed to check in early. great location across from beach verg good value for money would stay again

Excellent family friendly and affordable holiday accomodation.
TV reception very average and no digital reception. Stayed two night appeared no room make up as towels not replaced other than that very good for location which suited our needs this trip[ to Gold Coast
Reception unattended. Instructions to get key through intercom, even though we arrived mid afternoon. batteries flat in remote controls. Photos on web page give a different perspective than what we saw. Sorry but won't be going again.
we stayed 2 nights it was great except the room didn't get made up the next day (new towels etc) otherwise great
Better than last time I stayed - didn't realise I had stayed there before, otherwise I wouldn't have. Rooms OK, bed very hard, but better than last time. Cheap TV, remote did not work properly. OK for the price and location, but would still prefer to stay elsewhere
Decor way past use by date for price charged per night. Bed terrible(Mattress needs replacing badly) Pillows also need replacing - Room 206
The manager was quite pleasant The rooms we stayed in looked as though they needed a good clean. Dust on top of shower rail and window sills was quite thick. The windows were also quite dirty and needed a good clean There was a black mould just above the kitchen bench. Also the air conditioner didnt work AT ALL and one of the bedside lamps had a blown bulb. we perservered as was only one night!
My only complaint is about the Spa Pool. I was looking forward to a nice warm soak after driving for some time. I was disappointed to find the spa was cold water.
We found the service very friendly & the facilities very clean. It was within walking distance to shops. It was a welcome stop for weary travellers needing peace & quiet.
It was a great unit and price for the short notice I had given. It had everything needed for a short or long stay. I will keep in mind next time I need accommodation at the Gold Coast.
It felt like we were back at school - so many rules for a one night stay. Wouldn't bother staying here again.
The accommodation location suited our purposes perfectly (all of the theme parks were easy to drive to), however the beds were all old & sagged. There was also a portion of protective strip missing from where the carpet meets the kitchen area... it looked untidy & unsafe. The staff were friendly & the pool good too.
room service tends to be a problem and does not seem to be included as part of the fare. the tv sets are anitquated and they could certainly do with better ones. the location is to die for. if it deserves the prices that they charge its only for the location. services could be vastly better and i've seen much better stuff from smaller places!

Do not exepct a hotel. There are no goodies like shampoo. This is basically an apartment block with some units let out for visitors. Reception was very pleasant and helpful. If price is your driver then this place is fine.
Extremely good service. Advise on where to eat was great. The hair dryer that was requested was in my room on arrival. The resort is very close to the walking track along the beach. I would happily recommended Harbour Side Resort to others wishing to stay in the area.
Goof for on night.
This resort is good for family stay. There is convenient bus connection to Surfers Paradise and other places. Pity there is no phone in the room.
