Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya

Hotel staff was friendly and spoke great English, which was important for us since we know very little Thai. The pool area was fantastic, and to get to the beach you just walk through the pool and across the 2-lane road and you're there! The location was great for us because we wanted some of the nightlife. If you don't want to be near bars, this is not a great location for you, and it can be a bit noisy when you're by the pool with the traffic from the road. but these things didn't other us in the least. One negative from our trip was that they were continuing renovations on the hotel so it was very noisy at the hotel, but this ultimately improves the hotel so we weren't bothered by it. And it was only during the day from about 10am to 7pm, so we were able to sleep late without being bothered! If you're worried about it, just go to the beach where the waves drown out the noise of the road and the construction. The pool area is utterly fabulous though, complete with a fake beach (that has real sand!) . You definitely get the feel you are ate high-priced resort when you are out by that pool.

Overall, nice pleasant stay with the exception on the few tiny roaches scrambling atop the working desk.

The check-in and check-out process can be expediated. The queue was long and the average time to process a check out can be 15 mins per person. In other hotels you just sign off the invoices and pay and you are out off there in no time.

Very slow check in and out at this hotel. Small rooms for big money. Laundry, food and drinks for 2-3 times the prize from simular quality hotels. Expensive and low/ intrmediate quality internett, breakfast and minibar. This hotel is a big machine. Money machine for the people owning it. 4 big stars below HRH in Orlando. Needs a major makeover.

Rooms are quiet, beds comfortable, pillows perfect. The activities at poolside are great for kids, and the staff who lead these activities are impressive in their talent and hospitality. Food OK.

The pool and the related programmes are excellent.

The Hotel had many activties for the adults and children during the day. The children enjoyed themselves very much. They also had a club for the kids - lil' rock which the children will do stuff like Wii, playstation, storytelling and art n craft. Cool place for families.

Nice family oriented hotel with a central location. Noisy party on Saturday not very good for sleeping. Very good service and decent breakfast buffett. Problem with TV not working but in general a good place to stay, especially for families with kids. The Hard Rock Cafe served average food which for Thailand was overpriced!

An amazing concept...an all Rock hotel....I really loved the concept and decor !!!

They have absolutely great pool, excited foam party and absulutely friendly staffs who provide incredible services. Nice breakfast buffet, we really enjoy. However, the condition of the room and the hotel are not worth for the money you pay. Especially, when compare to other hotel around there which have quite same condition but much cheaper. Recommended for people who bring kids along.

Fabulous hotel and location, very freindly and helpful staff. Hotel tarrif reasonable but other prices, ie sun cream, Thai massages can be bought at a tenth of the price off site.

My teenagers did not want to leave, the staff, rooms, Kings club are all excellent. There is a shortage of sun loungers (January), food / drink is expensive but for child enjoyment it is worth the price. The location in central Pattaya is great for shopping and night life.

Best hotel that we stayed in while in thailand, staff very friendly and helpful with good facilities for both day and night. would go back to this hotel next time in Thailand.

The hotel was a little overpriced for the area. Other than that, I found the Hard Rock Hotel in Pattaya to be very comfortable and well worth the stay.
