Cute self cater timber cottage. In Tullah some 60 mins from Cradle Valley. Not much on offer in Tullah.
Wonderful place to stay.
The Wombat Lodge was the best and cheapest accomodation during our 2 weeks tour of Tassie. The Alpine interior was a happy surprise for us and we could do a little cooking too. It is a good base for exploring the north western and Cradle Mountain regions. A small balcony allowed me to smoke to my heart's content.
Located in Tullah, it proved an ideal place to stay, being midway between Cradle Mountain and the North West. Cosy accommodation was good value and our friendly hosts capped off a pleasurable stay.

COMFORTABLE, CLEAN AND SPACIOUS FOR 2 - 3 PEOPLE.
Overall, enjoyed my stay. The listing showed that the cabin had laundry facilities, which it did not. Also, no stovetop/oven, so cooking ability was limited. Very cozy, though.

The Hosts were very friendly and most accommodating for us. Highly recommended for families.

The Bush Nook Cottage was a great find and a great deal! It is spacious and clean and has a very well equipped kitchen. A light breakfast was included, which consisted of cereal, orange juice, milk, and toast. The service provided was exceptional. Overall, this cottage is a fantastic deal for the money.
Slightly 'off the beaten track', as need to drive about 1/2 hr to Cradle Mountain, but just a few minutes walk to a large & lovely lake. Good if needing more than just a bedroom as there is a kitchen, lounge with TV, & laundry; Although simple, is comfortable & fully equipped - good value for money
The floor was very cold! Not enough or any (especially under the beds) insulation?
Friendly, personal service and spacious home within 30 minutes of Cradle Mountains Park. Best to stock up on groceries if you want to eat in as there's only a small store in Tullah.
We found it a very homely place, full of old world charm. Old appliances, but in working order. Lots of interesting bits and pieces crammed in, plus books and a video library. A very interesting place, with plenty of help if you need it.
