Harris Resort Batam

Is a good hotel to spend time with a group of friends / family. The rooms in the new wing are decent. Is just ok for the price.

I am generally pleased with Harris Resort Batam. The staff are friendly and helpful to our needs. I look forward to more great stays with HotelClub

Harris Hotel is at Waterfront City, which is a long way from shops, entertainment etc in Nagoya City. For a quiet time away from everything, it is a good choice. The breakfast is ordinary, with not much choice, although they do have a small section dedicated to western tastes in the bar area. Even though it is advertised as having wireless in all rooms this was not the case. No wireless in our room, and the ethernet cable did not work. Food at the restaurant, especially the pizzas were worthwhile and the spa and ten pin bowling alley were also good, although the spa was somewhat expensive. If you are going to Nagoya Hill, you would get the same for half the price. Strange thing about Batam is that even though you are in Indonesia, they quote prices in Singapore Dollars. The thing that made the stay enjoyable was the extremely friendly staff who could not do enough for you. Overall an enjoyable stay but if you are after excitement this is not the place to stay.

The service was very good and efficient. The staffs were very polite, friend and service orientated. I have stayed other hotel before but was not that compare to this. My family enjoyed the stay there. We will go there again next time.

stay at this hotel is good for relax, but the diner buffet food is bad. breakfast very good, many choice of food. location 30 mnt to center. anyway this hotel good and can berecomend to all

Pros: Wonderful SPA, Jacuzzi, Sauna experience. Reasonably priced. Friendly & helpful staffs. Cons: Very very far from the city centre. However, charged taxi are available by making a reservation at the reception. All in all, a great place to stay if you're planning to enjoy a few days far away from all the stress in the world you're having. Good resort, reasonably priced (for foreigners) - pricey for locals.

Extremely friendly staff, excellent service, and good facilities. Very relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely stay again.

Everything was superb. Best hotel crew I've ever met. Lots of facilities to do and very peaceful place. Nice option for families. Location depends on what you are looking for. 20 km from the most popular nightclubs, taxi ride approximately 7 euros one-way.

I never expected such a good hotel at this place :-) Superb facilities with excellent support staff..Everything about this hotel is excellent.. i would recommend this hotel to all my friends for sure.. :-))

i think it's better if they will always have a good offers.. and the pricing is a bit biting please don't make the mistake don't let the guest remember the prices and not the holiday..

Services in Harris is good but location is not so convenient coz u need to take a cab out to town ard 30min, cab fare Rb 80k to 100k... Nite travelling back doesn't seem safe, road is dark & too much holes need to avoid, driver need to hv gd skill to avoid the uneven road...

Was upgraded to a suite, very nice of the staff. Excellent short getaway. However, shuttle to city should be more regular.

Checked in to harris on 7th for my girlfriend's birthday. Stayed in the cabana room which was nicely furnished with nice decor and furniture. The food was average and the spa facilities are really excellent. Was disappointed by the services rendered with regards to the arrangements of transportation was not properly communicated. Overall would rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

We especially love the service by the staff. Everyone is so polite and friendly and always ready to offer a helping hand. Well done, Harris! It will be the only place we are staying whenever we go to Batam.

We have just returned from our company trip to Harris Resort Batam. We are really very pleased with the services the resort extended to us, especially the flexibility on the town transfer and the late check out. The staffs and FO manager(Ahmad) are always so accommodating to our requests with a smile on their face. All my staffs and family members, ranging from as young as 2 years to as old as 65 years old enjoyed the resorts very much. I strongly recommend this resort for company who wish to have a short and cheap holiday for staffs and family members. It is a good place for bonding with staffs and family members.

On Saturday 11 October 2008, my darling husband surprised me with this trip for our 2nd Anniversary. Upon arrival, We were served like King and Queen. I am very impressed by their professional service, so personal and close in touch. We were upgraded to Carbana Room. IT WAS REALLY A BEAUTIFUL AND ROMANTIC ROOM. Then, We celebrated our dinner at H Grill and the spread of food was really good. Desserts were very nice and superb. My husband and me discussed that we should go back to Harris for Christmas and he agreed. We laughed out loud during the dinner we had experienced on 11 October 2008 and I will never forget this special place where special people like Stylianos A Koureas (GM), Maria, Margaret, Vincent and many. Sad to say, I left my heart there. I will say and tell everyone here to visit this special place. I will go back again. Maybe next month, I love Harris and I hope you will feel the personal touch of this resort. Love,Janet

Room is quite clean but the slippers look like used before. Bedsheet also has smell seems not sun enough. The salad at buffet breakfast not fresh, think because of the gravy. Overall, the resort is worth for you to visit for short trip.

Service was absolutely excellent...anything you needed, they were there to help you out! We also visited other hotels and the service at Harris was WAY better even though the other hotels, you pay more. For the price, the facilities were good. Great for families. I would recommend the Mongolian BBQ buffet...absolutely delicious!
