Getting there:
From Letterkenny, N15 Travelling from Letterkenny through Balllybofey and Barmesmore Gap - you will see a pub (Biddys OBarnes) to your left. Continue on for another 5 km and you will see a signpost on your right for Harveys Point. Turn right and follow the finger signpost for another 5km From Sligo, N15 Travelling from Sligo through Ballyshannon and Laghy. Continue pass the junction for Donegal Town, heading for Lifford and Killybegs, You will arrive at a roundabout. Take the third exit for Lifford and Derry. Continue on this road for another 1.5 km. You will see Clar Chapel on your right. Opposite, on your left, is a signpost and road to Harveys Point. Turn left and follow the signpost for Harveys Point - another 5 km. From Killybegs, N56 Travelling from Killybegs to Donegal Town, you will arrive at a roundabout. Take the third exit for Donegal Town. After 300 meters take the road to your left and follow the signpost to Harveys Point (another 7 km).

Check-in Procedure:
Our Concierge and Bell-Boy will be at the door to welcome you and assist you with your luggage and introduce you to our Reception Team. Check-in is ususlly from 4pm. However, we will endeavour to facilitate an early check-in if possible.

Car parking:
Free, safe parking in front of hotel.

Child Policy:
Children are welcome however we feel Harvey's Point is a romantic haven for couples to relax.

Front desk staff had difficulty understanding or speaking English. On check in they didn't initially have a double room as booked but told us that the twin room beds were almost queen size. They were infact largs single beds. Phoned down to reception and asked to be moved, told me that the rate I was given was so low that I would have to pay 80 Euro for the double room! We eventually were moved foc. Had to ask for new towels as the originals were of dish cloth thickness. In the afternoon we wanted to have a picnic by the lake,the girl on the front desk give us directions.... ended up in the neighbours front garden. She quite clearly doesn't know the english translation for left or right. Tip,bring insect repellent cream not only did we get bitten at the lake but the restaurant that evening was filled with midges. Even after the excellent room rate received from [your website] I thought it was expensive for the average service and lack of leisure facilities. Would we go back? Maybe.

Double Room

Our Executive Rooms are very luxurious and full of space. A separate foyer, lobby and mini bar enhance the splendor of these rooms. Each Executive Suite has a double king size bed or two double queen size beds a well appointed lounge area, with two easy chairs, flat screen T.V and dining table for two, Executive desk, broad band internet access, three telephones and guaranteed views of the Blue Stack Mountains or Lough Eske. The bathrooms are large, comprising of a bath tub for two, double vanity unit, walk- in shower, WC and bidet.

Twin Room

This hotel is excellent in every way. The staff are extremely efficient and friendly and do all in their power to make your stay a memorable one. The food is very good. The location of the hotel is beautiful. The rooms offer everything you might want. Overall a great stay.

Food and service very good Location - beautiful setting on shores of Lough Eske Rooms - we stayed in a Courtyard Room which was comfortable and well equipped. However the bathroom could have done with some refurbishment - if your budget stretched to a higher grade of room it would be worth it.
