"Lovely place to stay, we stayed in the tower room and had great views, people were friendly and would recommend to anyone lookoing for a place to stay in Richmond. Only 15 mins to the centre of Hobart.

"The Resturant was indicated as 'open' but neither lunch nor dinner was available.
Admittidly this was the end of the 'off' season and I believe I was the only person there, but I would have liked some alternative.
I booked the hotel because there was a resturant, but this was not available. However, the room was very comfortable and the room faciilties were extremely good." - Merinda Air
"Parking was a big problem with cars being blocked in when parking near the rooms. There was nowhere to hang or store clothing & had to live out of suitcase. Hooks were missing off curtains & had to use pegs to keep bedroom curtains from gaping. Clean inside, but had to step around chook droppings outside the entrance to the room - that area was not swept or cleaned up during our 3 night stay. Seating in living area was very uncomfortable. Suite was good size and the bathroom was modern and had a spa." - Anonymous

A 100 square Gothic Revival Manor House set amongst 100 acres of gardens and Apricot Orchard just on the edge of the historic village of Richmond. The suites are beautifully appointed with queen or king size beds, antique furniture, heating, spa baths etc. Every day our Clydesdale horse drawn carriage leaves Hatchers for a leisurely tour through our orchard and historic farm , past the oldest Catholic church in Australia , you will cross the nations oldest bridge , then enjoy a stroll through Richmond Village , we have lots of farm animals, apricot harvest time is from January to March, all you can eat free. We also have a convention and Wedding facility that cater for up to 450 people and our Restaurant is open every night. |

Hatchers Manor is 20 minutes from Hobart Airport and 20 minutes from Hobart. Very well located to visit Port Arthur, Huon Valley, East Coast and Hobart City. |
