Fantastic place to stay!!!! Right across the road from the beach, beautiful landscape/garden and really nice rooms.
Food was fantastic and service very relaxed and friendly. Bedroom walls and ceiling beams desparately need to be vacuumed. Would not deter us from making another visit though as everything else was so perfect!
Hawley House was a unique experience and one that I would recommend to anyone. It is very casual 'laid back' atmosphere but the service is great. Certainly value for money. Perfect spot, just walk across the road on to the very safe beach, wonderful. They have native animals and birds roaming so you need to be careful where you tread but that is part of the charm.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was set in lovely grounds with views to the ocean. The hosts very very pleasant and welcoming and we would recommend this to others.
Older style accomodation with very quaint, beautiful gardens. Very close to a secluded beach and a short drive to the local town with all amenities.
Beautiful Oasis close to both Launceston and Devonport. They also have a great restaurant, vineyard and beautiful gardens to walk around. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended!
I did not know what to expect until I arrived, and recieved a most pleasant surprise. I loved the gardens with all the quirky details (The Chapel) the roof-top bath and our accommodation in the converted stables. Last, but by no means least, the four course feast was provided with great style, flavour and much enjoyment on our part. This was our last night in Tasmania, otherwise we would have loved to stay much longer.
This was a very beautiful setting in facilities that in days gone by may well have matched the setting. The wines are superb.
