Heart of Amsterdam Hotel

"This is a hostel, not a hotel, best be clear about that. 8 co-ed beds in rooms decorated after movie themes (I stayed in the 007 James Bond room). As far as hostels go this is the second best I've ever stayed in: excellent breakfast, cool rooms, very nice showers (one with each room), central location -- middle of the red light district, so if you don't want to walk past hookers or stay next to a live porno show, you may want to find somewhere else to stay--however it's ridiculously overpriced. You could get a cheap hotel room in London for these prices. However, once you forget about that, it's quite enjoyable. Only thing is, if you have a street facing room, it stays very noisy right up until about 3-4am, so be prepared to stay out late. " - Anonymous
