"The main thing we weren't happy with was the fact they wanted to pre-charge us an extra charge of $150.00 per night to cover the cost of the mini bar / bond. We have never struck this before, we are happy to give the credit card number at the start like all hotels ask for to cover extras after the stay...just not pay for it before hand, especially when money is tight and we have travelled on a budget and don't drink the mini bars as they are far too expensive in hotels anyway.
It is an expense that travellers don't need especially if they are relying on their credit cards while staying there.
