The chalet style room I was in enjoyed a world class view over the lake. The room facilities were ideal for work. The staff were courteous and helpful.

Location good but rather average room quality - seem to have been in a time warp as the last renovations had probably happened late eighties - early nineties. Beds far too soft as well as too short (180 cm long = too short for current standards). First room that we had had some sort of a leak underneath the carpet as it remained wet. Second room that we stayed in had a leaking tap. Needed some amenities (razor blade) which was provided at 1.5 NZ$ / razor blade (I'd expect such services to be freely available given the hotel pricing). On the more positive side: Staff was friendly and helpful. Tough for the staff however to make up for the room quality - i.e. no renovations / bedding changed for at least 20 years!
We only stayed one night and found the staff pleasant and helpful. The room was good and the breakfast in the morning was exellent. We enjoyed our stay.

Rooms are tidy but need some TLC to replace cracked toilet bowl, light fittings have missing covers, etc. Room extremely noisy near Stanely Street. Not value for money.

it was amazing, the stay here, we were given the tellis rooms in the front of the hotel, so basically you get the lake view and all that jazz, it was awesome. shame it did not come with a kitchenette, but what gives, YOU'RE IN QUEENSTOWN. amazing place. also, because its nearing the end of winter festival when i was there, i only managed to book this hotel for one night and stayed out the rest of my days in comfort inn which is right behind this hotel. good too, but nothing near the coziness and awesomeness of this hotel. Heartland, I <3 you.
Room near the road was noisy and very hot with no air conditioning. Located at the top of a hill with very good views.
Deceptive size from outside but the room I stayed in is pretty large and the view that you get is great. Good location, near to the town as well.
A pleasant, clean hotel only minutes walking from the inner town. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommended.
A great location, an interesting room in many respects, but in the middle of winter it was freezing cold. The small wall-mounted heater was of little use, and, unlike other not centrally-heated motels in the South Island, there was no electric blanket. The cold white sheets were punishing every time one dared to move a limb, and we spent a miserable night.
Expensive internet connection
I was a little disappointed as when I went to have a coffee in the morning there was no milk, I did comment to reception and there comment was I should have rung. I was only there for 1 night.

Scenic Circle A Line Hotel Queenstown was awesome. The staff were very helpful and accommodating when I requested an A frame view room, even though we had already been placed in a lovely room at the back. The service was great, the room was spacious, the location at the top of the hill afforded a magnificent view and having a room at the front of the site gave us our own private garden and picture postcard view. Very impressive, reasonably priced and the view is free. Will be back
A fantastic stay in Queenstown thanks to the A Line! Great accommodation in a great location and a fabulous view. Love the service and especially the house cats.

Great service to and from the airport
Beautiful views from most of the rooms and very centrally located. Less than 5 minutes stroll to heart of Queenstown. Although there was a hill to climb when returning to the hotel this certainly wouldn't disuade us from staying again.
