Heavitree Gap Outback Lodge Alice Springs Guest Reviews

4.2 out of 5

The toilets wobble and the showers don't always work properly.

4.2 out of 5

Rooms cleaned daily. Very basic cooking facilities (if you ask for them). Some with micro waves. Be specific with what you ask for. There is a Tavern and an IGA mini supermart just outside the complex. There is also a laundy avilable in their caravan park section. Staff very helpful and friendly. Great location if you have a car though they do have a courtesy bus at scheduled times for those that don't. In/on the south side of Heavitree Gap and away from the centre of town, on the Todd River. Great open environment with their own rock wallabies each night too feed. You even get to see the trains go by.

this lodge had one of the most awesome settings you could imagine the rock formations surrounding it are breathetaking and its certainly a added bonus having the rock wallabies come down in the evenings for hand feeding. the whole family loved it

The beds were comfortable, the staff were helpful. The pub and shop were a little expensive compared to town but were extremely convenient. The meals were good, though service for them ended relatively early, a factor to be aware of if you don't have easy transport into town. I'd stay there again!

We had a lot of fun at this unique accomodation. You could see some local wallabies in the evening and the dinner at the pub was friendly with enjoyable live music of a local variety.
