Comfy bed, lovely clean bathroom, continental breakfast delivered in the evening and complimentary bottle of beer. What's not to like?

we really enjoyed staying at the Heinek inn the owner is fantastic and the unit was great lots of little extra touches and a great breakfast good value for money

Clearly a great deal of effort is made by the owner to provide great accommodation and that is appreciated but tea making facilities somewhat cluttered, jug difficult to fill under bathroom tap and breakfast and snacks embarrassingly over-generous.

Mr and Mrs Taylor were welcoming and very accommodating to an unavoidable last minute delay. The bed was wonderful and they had even arranged heavy overnight rain so that I slept like a baby after a long drive and before another long drive. A wonderful spot to split a long journey which I will have to repeat and won't hesitate to book in with them again. Highly recommended

This is a great B&B with very friendly owners. The free laundry is really useful. It is a little out of town, but it's no problem if you have a car. You can get on the Trans Alpine railway at Rolliston, so you don't need to get into Christchurch.

Very modern and clean operation. We highly recommend this B&B. The owners were quite friendly and were welcomed when they brought us hot breakfast right to our room. The free laundry was a bonus. The room was very comfortable, and the electric blankets were welcome during the cold and rainy winter nights. Dollar value VERY high for this B&B, I would have expected higher prices after staying here.

Great place to stay, we will be back. Only suggestion would be better signage, found it hard to find, and maybe improve access from highway if possible.

This Bed and Breakfast was an excellent choice indeed. I would recommend anyone to stay there. The owners were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. They were everwilling to offer us help with our travel plans in New Zealand and the breakfast was fantastic.

Heinek-Inn was a very pleasant place to stay. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and provide a wonderful cooked breakfast. It is on the main road going south so there is some traffic noise, but it is very clean with a good comfortable bed. Thank you Heather and Doug.

Everthing about this B and B is excellent. The hostess ia a winner. Breakfast second to none. The price was also the best we have had in New Zealand.

Very welcoming and extremely helpful hosts. Look forward to staying there on my next trip and will recommend to anyone travelling to Christchurch to stay there.

Dick & Heather are fantastic hosts. The room was spotless and much nicer than any motel we've stayed in lately. The cooked breakfast was also superb. The Heinek-Inn is located on the Main South Road out of Christchurch, so for anyone heading to Tekapo or Queenstown in a rental car, it's perfectly located. The 'Swamp' pub 2 minutes down the road offered an excellent dinner @ a great price too... everything we needed was just there. Thanks again Dick & Heather

Excellent service, very clean and well equipped room, lovely breakfast. Location is not too much of a problem if you have a car.

Awesome B&B. Exceeded all expectations. The only thing that was a bit of a pain was location. Located on Main South Road on the outskirts of Christchurch, getting to and from town was a bit of a mission. Other than that we found the Heinek-Inn met all of our needs. Would definately stay again if in Christchurch.
