I loved the location (close to Finlandia Hall, bus stops and tramstations). The ``room" was actually a large apartment, with everything you could care for - kitchen with pots'n'pans, a living area and beds. The broadband connection was useful. The breakfast was alright - nothing to rave about. All the food places are about 10 minutes walk. Great place, and I would highly recommend it to everyone. I thought at USD xxx a night, it was tad expensive, but Helsinki is ridiculously expensive, so I think USD xxx is not too bad. It rains often , and the hotel thoughtfully included an umbrella in the room.
We had a one bedroom apartment here for the same price as many nearby hotels charge for just a room. It was roomy with a kitchenette, nice to be able to make some simple meals ourselves after two weeks on the road with only restaurant meals. There is no service, apart from changing the linen every third day. This was ok with us. The location is only five to ten minutes walk away from Helsinki city centre. Recommended!
Good centrally located clean place - however, if you are visiting during weekend there is no service: reception is just closed. Not that it is a major problem, but you need to find out about access codes ets beforehand. No help phone listed on the entrance door...
Excellent apartment very convenient and good service. Definitely reccommend and reuse if ever back in Helsinki
studio we had was spacious, clean and the kitchen area well equiped. place was within walking distance of the station and supermarkets and the area had restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.
We enjoyed our one night stay. Would have appreciated a starter pack of tea and coffee/ sugar. If passing through Helsinki again we would stay at this hotel.
Very nice hotel and most practical for people using central train station.
I arrived late and in the rain and found it a bit difficult to find. Also once i got in finding the room was a bit hard since the numbering didn't make sense to me at first. The room was large and included a full kitchen setup which was nice. Parking is not easy around there, but not impossible.
I like this hotel. Only one problem is - no parking (garage).
clean, comfortable and well located. We plan to stay there again.
I am very impressed! A shame I couldn't stay longer. I felt like a king!
We arrived in Helsinki from barcelona on the 21st June night. Sadly it was St.John's day the next day and EVERYTHING was closed. However a very nice lady (Tiina) from the management had called us earlier and given us clear instructions on entering the hotel and finding the keys to our room. The hotel itself is very nicely located in a central and quiet part of town. The room was very nice and clean. It would have been nice to have a few provisions such as tea bags and coffee powder in the room. The one thing that put us off though was a long sheet of rules from the management with an almost threatening tone to follow them (almost like being in school) or else the mangmnt would charge extra money on the bill! rules like keeping the room clean or throwing trash in the bin in the backyard (which we could not find), keeping our clothes away neatly and so on... very unnecessary and left an unpleasant taste in what would otherwise have been a fantastic stay!
The unit is centrally located. It was a pleasure to stay in this hotel apartment in Helsinki.
Mostly a nice place, but Ear plugs recommended; the walls, or doors, are paper thin so a lot of the sound is easely penetrating the rooms. Bustle in the hall, doors opening and shutting and the elevator is not ideal for a good nights sleep.
Excellent alternative to a "traditional" hotel room.
A very nice apartment hotel concept, in a beautful part of town close to a good jazz club and parks. Service was always friendly and the place extremely well kept and clean.
Nice pricing, spacious rooms, big refregerator, clean and steady, home-like living in traditional Helsinki City house. Excellent location.
As an apartment-style hotel it appears to be good.
We were very satisfied with the services of this hotel.
I'd like to stay again, when I come back to Finland.
