"Ignore the moaners and lazyones who don't want to walk the 15 minutes to The Bund - the taxi is only 11 yuan to et into the city centre. There is a huge market complex only minutes ehind the hotel and your own street food stalls at the side. Excellent room, bookin through [website] was a winner. 15 - 18 May " - Anonymous

"Location is away from city and perhaps a 10mins taxi ride costing abt 14RMB, not too bad. Food is readily available at the vicinity. Room was clean and neat upon arrival and room service staff were efficient. Overall it was a pleasant stay for the kind of pricing. "About a 15-20 min walk from the Bund but with Taxi’s as cheap as they are in Shanghai this is a good location. Easy access and a short walk to the Nanjing Road. The bund view rooms have a few buildings in the way but I found this hotel provided the best value compared to others in the area. Breakfast had a ok mix of eastern and western food. As long as you don’t mind to walk a bit or take a short taxi ride I would recommend staying here." - Jamie Spahni
