From the airport the distance to central Athens is 30 km. Starting on the 14th of February 2009, the Metro of Athens will be partly closed , due to the works underway for its further extension. During this period the transportation from the airport to our hotel will be available by:
By Metro:
You could take the train named Proastiakos, until the station Neratziotissa, then change to line 1 until Monastiraki Square. The train runs every 15 min.The journey is about 45 minutes. It operates from 05:50 - 24:00. A single fare costs 6 euro(2009).
From Monastiraki square you have to walk up Mitropoleos Street. After 4 blocks you should turn right on Patroou street. You will see the hotel just in front of you, at the end of this small street.
By Bus:
There is a direct route to Syntagma Square on the E95. A single fare costs 3 euro(2009). The journey is about 45 minutes.
By Taxi:
The journey to central Athens is approx.30-45 min. The cost is about 30 to 35 euro. |
