Hesperia Bilbao Hotel

Very popular hotel - hence very busy -not possible to change rooms from double to twin otherwise great

Overall good to 'very' good rating. No negative points to mention.

Very bad and lazy attention at the bar! No cocktail was available, they intended to offer a beer which give less work...

Excellent position. Good room and faciliities. Food is very poor. Not enough choice and hot meals have to be reheated in a microwave. We will stay there again but won't eat anything but breakfast in the hotel.

A great experience. Great design, great staff.

I have never seen such a small hotel room. Only 20 cm between bed and desk, and a little more to the walls. The bathroom however was fine. Too much effort to get coffee in the breakfast room, the staff there should be more alert. The people at the reception were helpful.

Just try it, it is a a very good hotel, nice staff, clean and modern and very central!

Beautiful Hotel, with views of the river and the Guggenheim Museum. Spacious rooms that came with either a treadmill or a bike and hand weights. Lovely bathroom facilities... would definately choose this or any of there other hotels. Only one thing is you can't order room serivce between 3.30pm & 8.30pm but the food was great when you could. Excellent Hotel chain.

The Hesperia Bilbao Hotel is a modern hotel, nicely located near the Gugenheim and on walking distance to the old Bilbao, where there are nice restaurants. The menu of the hotel restaurant is limited.

Very nice hotel in a most convenient location. We had a junior suite , a beautiful and impressive room that was spotless. Sadly the service level did not match the hotel.There was no tourist information available at reception, not even a basic map of the city showing the hotel. The reception staff had little to offer by way of help or information, indeed some were downright rude. I have stayed in Hesperia hotels before and chose this one for that reason.

Great location served by a tram across the river. We didn't have a room with a view of the Guggenheim but it didn't matter as it was a top class hotel. Not the largest room, but clean and nicely furnished. Would advise to prebook the breakfast to get it cheaper than on the morning. Good food and loads of it. Can't fault the hotel, would definitely stay there again when visiting Bilbao.

It is a very pleasant and well located hotel Only parking is a little complicated, but it is downtown Bilbao, so we take it as it is Best Regars JP. Platzer

We had a very happy stay. Everyone was polite & helpfull.

Fantastic hotel, great value, great location and the smart designer image is also cool. The staff were really attentive, offering loads of information / brochures on Bilbao when checking in. Would definately recommend the Hesperia.

Very modern, clean hotel. Nice place 10 minutes walk from Gegenheim Museum. Nice restaurant and delicious food. Liked my stay there from check-in through to check-out. (One thing only, parking is 16 euros per day)

An elegant modern hotel in a superb location, with views of the river & Guggenheim. Very good service, speaking english and other languages - as our room wasn't ready when we arrived early afternoon, they gave us a free drink at the bar.

Restaurant service poor and choice of menu not acceptable. Many dishes unavailable - only two out of six desserts listed on menu available. Breakfast not of quality you would expect from a 4 star hotel.
