Lovely facilities. Room was spotless, and bathroom was gorgeous. Only complaint was that we had to ask for more loo roll!

While this hotel was the most expensvie of 6 we visited in Portugal & Spain, it was certainly the nicest as well. I had read that Toledo was a noisy place. Rooms were very quiet and much appreciated despite no view. It is in an old building that houses other things,(a basement movie theater!) but the hotel rooms and lounge/rest. were beautifully done. artsy and new. Took a cab up to the cathedral, but it was an easy downhill walk back to the hotel. Had a nice dinner right across the street.

Just outside of old city (10 minute walk) but cabs are plentiful and cheap (about 3 euros to center of town). Friendly and helpful staff. Room service provided surprisingly good meal at reasonable price.
