The hotel is in a lovely natural setting not that far from the train station - its walkable. The rooms are very pleasant.

We loved this hotel. We loved the quirkiness of its theme. The hotel was lovely and clean. The two gentlemen that looked after us couldnt be more helpful. The hotel is a hideaway as its slightly away from the main part of Wentworth falls, and although its driveway entrance is close to the railway line, you would never have thought it when you were at the hotel door or in your room. If you've enough time you must do the walk recommended, we did it before breakfast, but give yourself enough time to enjoy it and take your camera for those that want to capture the scene at the bottom. Would certainly use it again if we ever come back to Oz

My stay in this hotel was an absolute pleasure. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the train station and benefits from some small local shops and cafes at Wentworth Falls. The grounds and views are truly stunning and my room was large, spotless and very well equipped. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and informative. This hotel also represents exceptional value for money compared to similar accomdation in the area. I wouldn''t hesitate to recommend it.

Very nice place, nice bushland setting, friendly staff - advice to other couples seeking a quiet weekend away; check ahead to avoid other group bookings at the same time.

A retreat in a beautiful setting with swimming pool. Very quiet when I was there - October - may have been only one or two other guests. Room was well prepared on arrival but then was not serviced for three days that we stayed. Little contact with management/staff. No offer of breakfast until last day. No restruant although good ones in area. Good hotel - poor management.

A great location - looking out over amazing scenery in the Blue Mountains, yet still only 10 minutes walk to the local pub for excellent quality food in the evening.

Excellent location, room aspect and ambience. But, be sure to have an early shower as they ran out of hot water (8.20am) and we had to wait an hour for it to reheat. Also note that the buffet breakfast is just a basic cold buffet - and be early for that 'cause there was a wait there too.

It was a lovely quiet and peaceful location over looking National Park forest. You'll need a car to stay at this hotel as it would be quite a long walk along a dark road country road from the village.

We were surprised that this hotel is not well known - the facilities are excellent value for the price and the hotel is situated amidst virgin bush country with lovely views. Rooms were well appointed and although the hotel is not in the centre of Katoomba. it is only a 5 minute drive away. There are a couple of restaurants within a 20 minute walk (2 minutes by car).
