Friendly staff, lovely room, great location & view. Handy for Central Cairns & wharf. Mondos is a great casual eating restaurant.
Beautiful views from 8th floor over Trinity plus city views which were beautiful at sunset. Excellent pool and gym altho not very many people using these facilities. A bit noisy at night from entertainment in nearby park and casino but normally finished by 10-11pm. Most comfortable bed I've slept in in a hotel.

Great value for money. Excellent service of staff and great amenities of hotel and room which made our (my family of 3) stay very enjoyable. It will be my first choice if we visit Cairns again.
The room was great, with a nice view of Cairns. The front of house staff were very friendly and helpful.
We upgraded to waterview spa room which was well worth it as had great views. Close to many restaurants and casino is just accross the road. We hired a car for our stay but didn't really need it as only used to drive to Mosman Gorge/Port Douglas on the first day and Palm Cove on last. Can walk to most things. All boat tours leave 300m from door and Skyrail/Kuranda Train has a service that picks you up so really didn't need the car. Comfy rooms with typical Hilton comfort. Fantastic house keeping so that we always came back to fresh sheets, clean fluffy towels and spotless room. Very friendly service from all staff. Would highly recommend.
We arrived late at night. There was no concierge to assist with luggage but that didn't really concern us. On arrival we were upgraded to a corner room with extraordinary views of the Cairns inlet. Also asked and received late checkout. Easy walk to lots of activities, the shopping area, and many great restaurants. Loved it.
Very good location and have a big swimming pool and health room.
The location is very premium, literally just 50m from the Marina's Restaurant ros... just few minutes from Reef Fleet terminal (main port for great Barrier Reef) and of course in the heart of Cairns city. Flat rate $15 valet service per night is superb! (never park your car, they will always ready in main door !)
very friendly quiet and great location
We stayed in the Executive level with access to Executive lounge and it was fantastic. Love the pillows.
Perfect location in the city. Very helpful staff.
The Valet Parking cost of $12.00 is rather expensive seeing it was on a Sunday & it is the Underground section of the Hotel which has a price display for $9.00.
The hotel could make the stay more enjoyable by reducing their prices and/or giving complimentary water ( a very expensive necessity) and internet service for a limited time throughout the day.
The Hilton is a fine hotel in a great location on the waterfront. Unusual spacious lobby and a tropical bringing the outdoors indoors. We will stay there again on future visits to Cairns!
We enjoyed our holiday. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. We were in a renovated room and found the lounge access excellent - well worth the additional cost. We would recommend this hotel.
the rooms are a bit worn out, could use a reno, especially the bedding. be sure to take advantage of the pillow menu so you dont get the default options. i heard other hotels in prime position are charging less during this time of year, i will investigate those next trip.
An excellent hotel in an excellent location. From the manager to the porters the staff were very helpful and made sure your stay was to a high standard
It is quite a nice hotel, though hardly up to a normal standard for Hilton. More 4 star to me. Nice pool though. I thought the restaurant was rather ordinary and the decor ion the rooms a bit drab, particularly the bathroom which floods when you have a shower.
Very enjoyable stay - very friendly and helpful concierge.
Lovely, comfortable room and I thought good value for money.
