The service at the restaurant was alway excelent, the lack of WiFi at the hotel was a problem for us.
Wish I could always afford to stay here! Fab, well designed and beautifully furnished rooms. Courtesy bus, could be more frequent/more running a morning. Charging for internet access excessive though, that's the only bad point.
Stayed twice at this hotel. First time we were located at a lower floor in a family room and we felt the hotel was a quite a bit dated for a Hilton hotel. On the plus side, the size of the rooms are very big. The second time we were placed in a higher floor family room. The views were impressive of the skyline of London and we had a balcony so we were much more pleased with the room. The Buffet Breakfast is very good and has a wide selection of food. The Hotel is a little away from the city, but there is a shuttle bus from Canary Water Tube station and local buses run so it is still quite convenient, especially if you are going to tour the city. Would stay again.
Well situated with free shuttle but to/from Canada Water Station.
We stayed at the Hilton Docklands for 2 nights and we enjoyed it a lot. We have been here before and to us it is the perfect place to stay. Although it is not downtown, it is wonderfully located along the Thames overlooking Canary Wharf. We don't mind being away from the city centre as this location is very quiet and in a beautiful area. We had smashing sunny weather and they served breakfast outside on the terrace on 10 April. That was just great! You have several options to travel to the city, either take the hotelshuttlebus that takes you within a few minutes to Canada Water Tube Station or, what we did, take the boat to Canary Wharf and from there change to the boat that takes you either east or west. Staff were very friendly, both at Reception as well as in the restaurant and bar. We had a lovely stay. Rooms were quiet and nicely decorated. The hotel has a homey feel, we felt welcome and we go back there in July.
Fantastic hotel, reasonably priced; the shuttle bus from the hotel to Canada Water station (vv) is an excellent addition to the overall service level of this facility. The ferry to Canary Warf makes the hotel even more easy to reach.
Super location on Thames Path
Had a nice spacious room. Used the courtesy van or clipper to get into central london. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food well presented and tasty. would stay again.
no fridge in the room
We had an enjoyable two night stay. With its free secure car park and courtesy bus to the local underground station, the Docklands is an ideal location for a quality sightseeing base but without paying central London prices. Ensure Hilton discounts are obtained, winter prices are good. Thirty minutes to central London, good local Thames walks, river bus access and good breakfast. Pool and gym if required. Many rooms with river views. If you have visited London before this is a good location for future trips, especially if you are traveling by car.
Excellent Hotel. the staff where very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. I will definetly be staying there again.
Great location and a shuttle bus to take you to the tube station, brillant for getting into town. Would highly recommend.
The hotel shuttle from the tube to the hotel was great.
The hotel is tatty, my room was half attic. The fillet steak I had from room service was mediocre, and they should call chips chips not poncy Juliene paotatoes (they wern't even good chips, so maybe potatoes Juliene are just rubbish chips). The shower was under the attic bit so I had to stand in the window embrasure (sic) and the fitting to hold the shower head was loose so I ended up crouching under the shower.
our room had a spectacular view of the Thames, was pleasantly light and roomy, with a small balcony.Getting to and from the hotel was made easier with a courtesy bus every 15 mins from Canada water,it is definitly a bus journey to get to,too far on boring roads to walk.
Difficult to get good and inexpensive wireless internet at the hotel.
This hotel looks a little 'tired', especially on the outside. But it was clean and staff friendly.
The hilton had a pick up & drop off service to Canada Waters underground station which was very convienent. From there easy access to city by Bus or Train. Great atmosphere, good Bar and great Buffets for Breakfast or Dinner
Excellent hotel in an excellent location. Perfect for the marathon weekend.
At first I was given a dirty room in the unrenovated building of the hotel. It was awful. Stains in the carpet, marks on the walls. And, even though they said they could accomodate 2 adults and 2 children, their was only sleeping for 3 in the room. I took my concerns to the manager, who was FANTASTIC! She upgraded my room and we got a beautiful view of the Themes and sleeping for 5.
