Hilton Melbourne South Wharf

It was a fantastic long weekend with my friends. The rooms are amazing! Beds are so comfortable that you feel as if you're floating on clouds. Best part, hotel is located right beside DFO South Wharf! Boxing day sales were amazing!!! Only downside is parking. Costs about AUD 28 per night at the short term carpark right opposite the hotel.

Good clean haotel with full facilities, a little out of town but all in all An OK hotel

Great location with easy accesss to the city and surrounding suburbs and excellent service. The boys in concierge were very helpful with a few logistical problems I had to deal with.

Booking thru this website resulted in a disabled facilities room which was not appropriate for our situation . We could not change rooms as the hotel was full. Staff were great. We will book direct next time.

The nicest hotel I have stayed in in Melbourne, which includes the Grand Hyatt. Its new and modern and the location allows for a stunning river and city view. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It was perfect

I was very impressed with this hotel stay. I had visited friends staying here a couple of weeks ago, and decided to try it out. So I booked a twin room for last weekend. The beds were comfortable the service impeccable, from reception to room service. It was a very short walk to DFO shopping and to great restaurants on South Wharf/South Bank. Public transport was easy to access too. Only thing that I would like to improve is the supply of bubble bath! as what is a bath without bubbles!

Fantastic, had a memorable experience, stunning view overlooking the river & city. The best nights sleep, the bed was so good.

This is a great hotel to stay in - facilities, staff etc all very good. The bed is so comfortable and there's pillow menu so it's all just right. For our purposes the location was perfect, though if you wanted to spend most of your time in town, it's a 10-15 minute walk to Flinders St station. Would definitely stay there again and happy to recommend to others.

Beautiful new rooms. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartments and there are 2 bathrooms, with great amenities (crabree and evelyn). Very close to the city, right next door to the Convention Centre which is why we stayed there, and the factory outlet stores are just down stairs. Excellent gym, clean modern equipment. In house bar and restaurant is fantastic. No pool, but wasnt a big deal.

we were able to check in 8 hrs early. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I received a discount on booking, and also received a further discount on my stay from the Hilton Melbourne. Brilliant hotel and weekend in Melbourne.

Loved the Hotel, great location and service was perfect. Breakfast was sensation which came with the price of our room, delicious. I only have one problem which is that they swiped my credit card for $100.00 at check-in, as security for Bar Fridge etc, and this was debited to my account instantly, but no credit has been transacted. We paid cash for our use of the Bar Fridge on check-out. I rang the Hotel on Monday and they said it would be done, but not as yet and this is day 4.

Hotel is virtually brand new. Had great views of the CBD. Service was excellent. Located in South Wharf, which doesn't really offer a lot. Only a 10 minute walk to Crown Casino and Southbank. Had a good stay and recommend.

Great hotel and absolutely the best service/staff. This was our second visit here and although it is a little pricey, it represents good value. Great views (city side), great staff, very quiet and new enough to still be fresh.

I stayed in the club room and amazingly was let up to the club at 11am even though I was there early to drop off bags. Then had soft drinks up stairs and was given the room key early at about 12pm even though official check in is 2pm. The club had excellent views of the yarra river. Free internet and soft drinks and tea and coffee all day. Had breakfast there they had many options only continental though however they had fantastic pancakes etc. The room was lovely had a bath and a shower. Automatic blinds even. The bed was great they even had a pillow menu however I didnt need it as many pillows in the room. The only down point was no pool which in melbournes climate certainly could be useful.

Floor to ceiling windows providing good light and great views. New and very clean. Nice subtle, neutral interior design. Very comfortable. A great place to escape and not leave your hotel room especially if you are a local. The lack of a steam room facility was disappointing though.

This is a really good hotel, close to south bank and DFO shopping. Disappointing that "Rates-to-Go" was MUCH cheaper than Hilton club, just goes to show to "shop around".

Beautiful panoramic views from our room, all facilities excellent as to be expected from a near new hotel. About 10-15 min walk to Crown Casino and Southbank restaurants via the new Melbourne Convention Centre and "Jeff's Shed". On request, received complimentary noon checkout enabling us to gain the most out of our stay. Pricey hotel good for special stays, but probably better value around.
