We had a lovely sea front room and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool was lovely and not that busy and the bar which over looks the sea was relaxing and very comfortable. Over all a great place to stay on the seafront in Brighton.
Great location on the prom! Magnificent breakfast, friendly service. Bathroom a little tired, but very clean.
Perfectly located for the beach, shops, restaurants & bars. Only negative is the shower - it was nothing more than a dribble!
Friends weekend....lovely position, easy walk into town centre and for exploring.
The Hilton is a landmark building on Brighton seafront, currently receiving some attention with regards to refurbishment of bedrooms. Personally I was underwhelmed by the refurbishment. Whilst the rooms are utterly inoffensive, they had little or no connection with the era or style of the property, the furniture was exactly what you might expect in a hotel built in 2010 rather than one built in the late 1800's. Something of a shame when you consider the grandeur on display outside and in the public areas. Would I stay again, not sure, I'd like to check out the refurbished rooms at The Grand first I think!
I cannot fault this hotel. Great deal and a fantastic stay.
The entrance and public areas were very nice but for a four-star hotel it was looking a bit tired - cracks on the bedroom wall and a large chip out of the bath. No coffee served with breakfast on the first morning in the dining room.
no complaints all very good in fact, a lovely hotel
Room was fine, although view was of internal courtyard. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast.
couldn't fault the hilton! impeccable sevice, staff and breakfast was fab!! Room was a kingsize - only thing is bed was made up of 2 mattresses, don't know if this is usual - but I slid down the gap between the two though!
the hotel is very glamourous and retains many of its period features, with a great sea-front location. Unfortunately our room wasn't as luxurious as we were expecting and overlooked a generator which was noisy all night. The buffet breakfast was very impressive and the staff were generally very helpful
The hotel is in an excellent location and has a nice feel to the lobby/bar etc. Swimming pool was a nice touch. The breakfast was also well above average for a hotel buffet. But the hotel room itself was worse than expected, pretty small and tatty with a rubbish shower. But it was a very good price so can't really grumble. Fine for a one or two night stay but wouldn't want much longer
The Hotel itself is perfect due to location. The rooms for £200 are small, sparse and overlooking the ncp car park at the back. I recommend paying alot more and staying in the Sea View rooms. The Breakfast is very special but i find the Metropole is being used as a launch party for Hen Nights.Good Hotel but there are alot better in Brighton for the money.
Wonderful English breakfasts! It was good to have a non smoking room
