Holiday Inn Hangzhou City Center

I had a very plesant stay at the Holiday Inn in Hangzhou in June 2011. The room was clean and the staff were very helpfull and could speak english, which isn't alawys the case in China! The king size bed was extremly comfortable and gave you the choice of either choosing the soft side of the bed or the hard, so it will fit most people's preferences. I highly recomment staying at the Holiday Inn in Hangzhou, it is a very comfortable hotel at a very fair price.

Holiday inn is a nice hotel with everything u need. Nice restaurants, facilities, and location is ok! Supermarket next door and a great fench bakery as well - just in case u dont fancy chinese bf. I recommend staying here

Fantastic - great hotel. Not so close to the lake though if that is what you are looking for.

I was only here for an evening and a morning and this was an excellent choice for stopping on the way to somewhere else. The room and amenities inside were very nice, the bed was soft and comfortable and the bathtub was most appreciated. In addition, the room was quiet -- well insulated from outside and neighbourly noise. The location is like any other big city accommodation: difficult to find unless you know beforehand how to get there and not much of a view apart from other big buildings and rooftops. The buffet evening meal and breakfast were outstanding when I visited: spacious and clean, huge variety, beautifully presented and very tasty! This is a great place for a night-in, especially if you've been "roughing it" for awhile.

The Hotel location is about 10 minutes from the City center and the Westlake, but it is a rather quiet area.
