"Well positioned for Concert Hall (across the road) and the main shopping areas. Has special rate with Galleries Car Park which is very good value. Rooms small but adequate, beds not hard for once, but only one pillow each supplied. Restaurant a decent size and quite pleasant, overlooks the street at ground level. Dinner menu good as was the food, though breakfast overpriced for a buffet. Our room was 4th floor at the back/side of the hotel and was very quiet indeed.
A reasonably sized lobby sitting area and bar, better than many hotels in Glasgow and where you can have a sit down and a drink in comfort.
The one lift in the hotel was rather slow in operation, though it did work fine.
Note - you need your Key card to use the lift to the guest room floors, which is a good security idea. We didn't notice any stairs.
Overall a great location, comfortable and service was good, near car park and shops - not bad for a city centre hotel for quick visit." - John Cunningham
