Ideal location due to being next to main tram line with easy reach of most sight seeing area's,the hotel staff were very friedly and helpful.
Very handy. Closed to the tram & shops
not a five star hotel, expensive restaurants & minibar, a little far from the historical sites and Istiklal str, Taxim. A huge pro that the tram stop is just outside the hotel.
Very helpful english speaking staff!
Nice breakfast and easy access to public transportation.
Very friendly staff, ready to help.
It's an OK hotel, but nothing particularly exciting (I was quite surprised to see it rated 5*). Good location to the airport. Service was rather slow.
Although the tram stop is right opposite the hotel, however, it still takes around 15-20 mins to get to the city center. Not at all convenient, but with that price, what do u expect?
Nice hotel, a little far out, but the tram is right outside
I am particularly impressed with the friendliness and efficiency of the reception. All our special wishes (room-related, such as no-smoking, close proximity to lift, etc.) were met immediately.
Nice hotel located in an old neighbourhood;good and safe(this is an issue in that city);trams available right across from the hotel for Aksaray, the old Bazar, and Sultanahmet(for Hagia Sophia,Blue Mosque, etc.)for YTL1.30;buses(get the blue ones for YTL1.40 pp)are also available to the new city(Taksim and Istiklal Rd);hotel staff were helpful and nice; breakfast was good;internet seems to be problem with hotels these days and this one was no exception;i thought the internet service would be free; no, no, no!you'll have to cough up €5 per hour!btw if travelling from the UK change your money into either € or $ before leaving-rates are not so good there; one other tip-make it clear to the hotel before arrival that the airport pickup service is complimetntary or else you'll end up paying €20(this could cost you much less via airport bus(Havas)or private taxi!Overall,I wouldn't go that far as to classify this one as a class A 5*,but it's good and value for money. Will stay there again.
Hotel facilities are good, rooms clean and staff friendly and helpful. Good wide variety of food available. Hotel food prices are very expensive. Rooms are noisy - you can hear the slamming of other doors in the corridor every morning from 6 am - not good for a lie in!! Building works on the hotel and adjoining buildings also mean that during the daytime you can hear drills and banging in the room throughout the day. Only small selection of Englsih TV channels. Hotel about 25 mins on the tram from Sultanahmet. Tram stop right outside hotel. Stayed from 20 July to 28 July 2007.
Although not very close to the city center, this hotel is cosy and has a nice surrounding. Hotel facilities are O.K. Breakfast is satisfactory. I would stay here again
It's anewly renovated hotel, about 2 km outside the centre of the old own and in a quiet but very convinient location as the tram, the fastest means of moving in Istanbul makes a stop just outside the hotel.I would use it again for sure.
