Holiday Inn Old Sydney

We stayed one night and will definitely be back. You can't beat the location. It's right at the Rocks Market and within walking distance of the harbour. The staff at Holiday Inn were great as was the room. Comfy bed and pillows too :) Make sure to see the area from the hotel rooftop, you'll love it. You can see the harbour area, bridge, and Opera House easily - wonderful photos from the rooftop.

the hotel is in a wonderful position in the Rocks area - everything is so close to the hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are roomy and clean. Had a great stay and will stay again.

It was a great location , the rooms were very small and for the same amount of money i could of stated in another hotel near by for the same cost ,i will definately will stay somewhere else next stay in sydney

A very pleasant stay with excellent staff. breakfasts were well presented and the staff friendly. Would be happy to stay again. Only one small glitch and that was a problem with the room key/card which had to be changed three times. I understand they are aware of that and should resolve shortly.

Value for money and great to be in the Rocks Better value than the neighbouring so called market leader Doyles

The staff were friendly and service was quite efficient. Great location and great views of the harbour from the roof top.

My daughter loved her stay at the Holiday Inn Old Sydney, and would not hesitate to choose this hotel again in her future trips to Sydney. She found the front desk staff at Holiday Inn Old Sydney was professional in their service.

We were very happy with the hotel and the location was perfect for the activities we had planned around the Rocks Area.

Great location in the middle of the Rocks, Sydney. Very clean and all the normal facilities.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Old Sydney as we were taking a cruise from the terminal across the road. Trains, buses and ferrys close by. Would stay again.

We were lucky to receive a great rate for this hotel prior to our cruise - it is in a fantastic location for people leaving from the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney, literally only being a few minutes easy stroll to the terminal, even with numerous bags. The room was smallish but clean and neat and we were lucky to have glimpses of the Harbour! Probably the only complaint would be a group of us met prior to our cruise and there was only 1 person on the bar who was extremely slow and not entirely knowledgeable which was a bit disappointing. I had read a few reports prior to staying about the noise from the street/bars etc - we could not complain - we found the noise to be minimal and of absolutely no concern. Overall an excellent stay, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

I really enjoyed staying at the Holiday Inn Old Sydney. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the service was wonderful. It was close to the Markets and Sydney Wharf and will definately stay there again.

The location was perfect for us. We caught the train from the Airport to Circular Quay and then walked to the Hotel. Central for sightseeing for a couple of days and then walked to the Terminal to board our Ship. Couldn't get much better.

I felt the restaurant in this hotel should have opened later. We arrived in the hotel late in the evening and couldnt get a meal on arrival. However I would recommend this hotel as it is very central and ideal for visiting all the top tourist attractions.

Location is excellent. Rooms are ok and clean. Parking is expensive even for a guest. Breakfast buffet is ok.

have stayed many times at this hotel, a little disappointed in my room as it was a disabled persons room right next to the elevator, but it was avery late check in in fairness, and a very early check out

We were well pleased with every aspect of our stay at the holiday Inn old Sydney. On arrival we were impressed with the staff who were helpful in every way, and this continued throughout our stay. We loved the beautiful airy foyer and our room was value for money.
