Getting there:40-45 min drive from Phuket International Airport. Hotel transportation available on request. Additional charge is THB 800 per way for hotel limousine (max. 3 adults) and THB 1,200 per way for mini van (max. 8 adults).
Check-in Procedure:A valid passport or photo ID card (Thai Citizen only) is required. Deposit of THB 2,000 or a valid credit card is required to guarantee any additional expenses.

Child Policy:Children 2 - 11 years who share existing bedding with parents will be charged only breakfast at THB 265 net per child per day.Maximum 1 child per room. Children under 2 years stay free and hotel provides baby cot complimentary. Children under 12 years are charged 50% of adult rate for extra bed, all meal and compulsory dinner on December 31, 2011. Hotel Policy:No pets allowed.No un-registered person allowed.Charge for extra bed is THB 1,100 per adult and THB 550 per child (including breakfast)
This hotel suited my needs very well. Just off the beach road a short walk from the restaurants and bar complexes. The room was large and well appointed but the bathroom wasn't cleaned as thoroughly as I would have liked. The staff were friendly and helpful and the two pools were clean and not crowded. My only real criticism is that it advertises free wi-fi, but this is only available in the open air lobby which is swarming with mosquitoes in the evening. If I wanted internet in my room, I still had to pay. Aside from this, it was still great value for money.
The hotel is not on the beach...few are You are not in view of the beach. About 125 paces to the water's edge. Rooms are functional--nothing fancy. The hotel is well-run with good staff. Patong beach is a 30 minute cab ride from the airport.
We stayed for 5 nights. It was the 2nd time we had stayed at this resort. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Pools and ambience were lovely. Was a little disappointed with the variety and quality of the food at the in house Wednesday night pool BBQ. Too over priced for what we payed. Rooms clean and air conditioned. Very close to all the shopping and a short stroll to the local nightlife.
The charge of bringing back a guest is totally inapportiate and is just another way for the resort to take more money from the customer. This should be ended and will be the reason that I will not be staying there again.

Main room was very nice, bathroom basic but clean. Outside area was excellent- enjoyed the pools. Lovely breakfast setting. Very handy to markets and beach. Good value for money. Staff were very helpful and friendly
Horizon was very good value for money. It's strength is it very friendly and helpful staff and its generously sized rooms. It's weakness is its poolside food service which is very poor. Would strongly recommend the hotel to families contemplating a visit to Patong beach.

The pools need to be cleaned more regularly, quite often the pool was cloudy and some residue was in the pool. All other aspects of the hotel were good.
More effort could be given to the upkeep/cleanliness of the two pools.
