The Hostal Que Tal is a charming and friendly 2 star hostel located in the flashy and central Eixample neighbourhood, located next to the Madison Avenue of Barcelona, the Passeig de Gràcia and 10 minutes walking from Plaza Catalunya. From here you can reach just about anywhere in the city in the numerous buses, metros, trains and commuter rails which radiate from the center. Take a day trip to Sitges, a gem of a city just South of Barcelona which has long stretches of beach and a lovely maritime walkway to stroll down at sunset. Closer to the hostel are several intriguing Gaudi structures including La Pedrera (also known as Casa Mila), Casa Batlló (which was nicknamed the bone house because of the shape of the columns in front of the first floor windows) and finally Gaudi's masterpiece, Sagrada Familia Cathedral is not far away. The hostel has been completely renovated and is located in a residence built at the turn of the century. The staff at the Que Tal reflect the friendly name of the hostel, and will make you feel right at home. A communal living room is available for the use of all guests.
