"It was very clean. Decor was pleasant albeit minimal. The room was large and the bathroom very big. There was only enough cutlery and crockery for two people, but that's probably OK for two! Would have been tricky with visitors for a meal or cuppa. Hostess was not that welcoming and we could hear her later being terse to a couple aged 20-25yrs re no smoking or parties. Possibly fair comments, but could have been stated in a more friendly way. Overall though, a great bed and very comfortable. Few TV channels (4-5) but that may be common in Hanmer. Kitchenette had microwave but no hot plates. BEAUTIFUL scenery, esp in winter. Hot pools about 1 km walk." - Anonymous
