"The bathroom was filthy - mould all around the bath and on the grouting between the wall tiles, including around bath on floor. The first room we were offered (Rm 705) was the size of a dog box but luckily we were upgraded to a slightly larger room - a dog kennel!! This certainly was not what I had envisaged when I booked the room and was charged $150.00 Aus a night into the bargain!! Not a happy camper at all!! The beds were like sleeping on the pavement and the pillows not much better!! (and I have slept on the concrete before). There was a lot of noise during the night - the rooms not at all soundproof as other people coming in at all hours were quite noisey - just closing their doors and could hear the people next door plugging into the electricity socket as well as heaing full conversations. We had stayed in hotels in Canada, 3 star, cheaper - $90-110.00 Aus which were much cleaner and bigger and nicer rooms." - Joan and Ian Macrow
