Hotel 1 Maggio Hotel Milan

"A good value clean hotel with excellent air conditioning in the rooms. The reception staff spoke good english and were very helpful. The breakfast was a standard basic continental and was fine. The restaurant appeared to be run commercially seperate to the hotel and was not good. The food choice was limited and the staff spoke little english (or other languages e.g. french, german). The food quality was poor and the reataurant room itself was very dark and hot with no air conditioning. Even the italian guests were clearly unhappy with the restaurant." - James Hughes

"The Hotel is about 20 km from Downtown Milano. The hotel itself is in very reasonable condition, with all of the necessary facilities (except pool/sauna), the rooms are large and absolutely clean, with very comfortable beds. Good for a night and the moderate price is in line with the service the Hotel offers. " - Imre Kiss
