OUR STAY WAS VERY PLEASANT. THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE STAFF WERE REALLY FRIENDLY AND NOTHING WAS ANY TROUBLE FOR THEM. IT WAS VERY QUIET THERE, AND CLOSE TO PUBLIC TRANSPORT. I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

Quite a small room, but perfectly ok for one person. Lovely and clean, fantastic location (in the Cross) and very friendly staff. Yummy breakfast included.

George is a very helpful guy. And his Dad makes a great breakfast which incidentally is free if you stay with them. The hotel is very close to King's Cross train station which makes it very easy to get around and a bus stop to Circular Quay is literally across the next road. There are so many eateries, clubs and pubs scattered in the vicinity and you just don't need anything else. The room is big enough for one to tuck away the luggage, there is a place to hang your clothes and shelves to stash away your odds and ends. And the bathroom is of adequate size. If you don't mind a small family run hotel and don't expect too much, this is a great place to put up in Sydney.

Breakfast is very nice. Free WiFi is available. Though there are bars and clubs near Kings Cross station, the hotel surroundings is quiet at night. Room has a window, but seems cannot be opened - there is air conditioning, however.

Very good value for money - thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night stay.

Hotel 59 proved to be a very good choice and I would highly recommend it as an affordable, comfortable and clean hotel. The room was just as the photos suggested, with air conditioning as well as windows that opened, with TV well placed. The ensuite was clean, plenty of hot water and hairdryer included. A cooked breakfast was included in the price with ample choice from blackboard menu downstairs in the cafe. Thanks George, a great find in Sydney.

Great little family hotel near to lots of resturants . buses and train close by and easy to get to the harbour etc. run by really friendly people and supplied us with a great breakfast. can recommend this hotel when staying in sydney, kings cross lively and great

Very clean and comfortable. Decent size room. Included breakfast was great. Certainly recommend.

my only real concern was that the reverse cycle air con was filthy dirty and blew chunks of dust onto the bed and it didnt seem to heat up when i turned the temp up

Family-owned small B&B located within minutes from Kings Cross main streets. Good security at entrance, friendly host and excellent complimentary breakfast! The rooms are tiny but they do maximise the use of space. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here agian.

Only issue I had is that reception was closed when we arrived but the key was easily located and the family run place was very friendly, clean and good breakfast.

small room with comfortable bed, adequate bathroom , plenty of hot water in shower -small tv mounted on wall (channels not tuned properly difficult to find each channel), great breakfast cooked perfectly included in price .

Nice, clean, basic hotel

The accommodation itself is a bit tired looking although clean enough. Breakfast is really good. Location, close to everything, but Kings Cross is a bit seedy. Overall a good hotel though, I would use it again.

The Hotel is excellent with owners who are really helpful and forgiving of the jetlagged guest. The Hotel is not staffed in the afternoon or evening which really is not a problem. Breakfasts are excellent both in quality and quantity. The Hotelis out of ydney but very accessible by city train and the bars and restaurants are therefore cheaper. Excellent

We enjoyed our stay at hotel 59 the only complaint i would have is the bathrooms are way to small but a very nice place just the same

A good b&b at a good price. Very friendly owner George. Great choice of breakfast included in price. Area was quirky. We walked around Sydney, Opera House (30mins). Great Pizza take out 2 doors down - Reccomend the Accapulco!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. For the price one certainly cannot go wrong! George and his father were most accommodating,very helpful and pleasant. Both the service and location were great. Breakfasts (with many choices) were very good. We thank George for making us feel at home. Would certainly stay at this place again and will recommend it to anyone. Easy access to buses and train station. Also good restaurants in the area.
