Hotel 73 Taipei

Chose this hotel for its location and less expensive price. The metro station is about a 15 minute walk on the far side diagonal of the Chiang Kai-Shek memorial, which itself is only a block away.

Although the room a bit small but the value is worth.

Room was tiny, but as I didn't have a lot of things to lay out it was adequate. Hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. However, DON'T take their offer to exchange currency. Breakfast was substantial with a wide variety of East-West foods. And, if it's raining, you can borrow an umbrella from the front desk.

My stay at Hotel 73 was great from start to finish. The room was sparklingly clean when I checked in and very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. The staff was pleasant and helpful from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was delicious – different every morning and a great selection. The location was good and central, but about a 10 minute walk from the MRT. I really can’t think of a bad thing to say about this hotel, other than that I wish I had had a few more days to spend there.

The hotel is about 10-15 mins walk to its cloest MRT station. But I found it easier to take bus and the hotel provides a very good map showing various bus routes upon check in. Room is a little bit small but it's clean and staff are very friendly. Breakfast is included, very simple I just went down to have a cup of coffee and toasts everyday. The room rate was not particularly attractive as there was a computer exhbition held at the week I was there.

Clean and well design room. Very tight space, go for bigger room where possible. Friendly and helpful receptionist.

Rooms are small, but service is accommodating. Location is great, easy to get around.

The hotel is very nice and especially the breakfast. variety of food provided and most of them are delicious. Moreover, they have washing machine with washing powder for free use. However, the room is a bit small and it takes at about 15 mins walk to go to the nearest Metro station.

The air conditioner in the room was slightly dripping water, small room but good size bathroom, bus right outside the hotel take you to the closest MTR in either direction, free use of the washing machine was a bonus, breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting taipei.
