"The standard rooms are simply too small for travellers. The deluxe rooms are a better option. Staff very friendly and helpful, but we upgraded from a standard room to a deluxe after one night. This hotel should have Wi Fi, but doesn't. Great location for Little India and Bugis markets and the rail network. We will stay there next time in Singapore." - Murray Hubbard

Hotel 81 Rochor is centrally located within short walking distance from Sim Lim Square ( Electronic and computer Mall), Singapore National Library, Shaw Towers (shopping and cinema complex), Suntec City (Shopping and Convention hall), Raffles City (Shopping Mall).
Catch performances by local and international acts at the Esplanade, Theatres on the Bay, which is located a mere 20-25 minutes away on foot. Fort Canning Park plays host to cultural and musical events throughout the year. And the shopping hubs of Orchard Road, City Hall, Bugis Junction and Marina Square are also within walking distance.
Drinking holes and nightspots, such as the Mohammed Sultan stretch, Chjimes, Boat Quay and Clarke Quay can be reached by trains, buses, taxis or on foot.
