Hotel Aida Opera Paris

Excellent for me. Best choice in its rank.

This hotel was recommended to us by a colleague and overall proved to be reasonably good. We were with friends and so booked 2 rooms. The room allocated to our friends turned out to be better than ours as we ended up with a corner room. It was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the safety deposit box had been forced open and therefore could not be used, the air conditioning unit started dripping water on the second of our 2 nights, there was no plug in the sink, and the bathroom smelt a little damp. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast was excellent, including freshly squeezed orange juice (which you squeezed yourself!!). Our friends were completely satisfied with their room.

This hotel and location suited our visit just fine, and reasonably priced

Staff: helpful & pleasant. Hotel: clean & bright. It's in the heart of Jewish Paris, surrounded by restaurants, delis, patisseries & Synagogues. Moved rooms on day 1 - the room we moved to was fine: fridge, air con, TV & comfortable beds. Breakfast: good (Kosher, for those who are interested but for those who are not, the breakfast was still good). Just make sure that if possible you get a rate that includes breakfast since it is a bit expensive. We would stay again.
