A well-situated modern hotel on the edge of Chinon, a delightful town with an amazingly well-preserved medieval centre dominated by a spectacular château. The hotel itself is across the river, 10 minutes' walk from the château, and set in parkland near all the town's sports facilities - excellent for that early morning jog or swim! All rooms are medium-sized with the doubles, the twins facing the château, facing the park. Five family rooms are available with four beds and a terrace. All rooms have pleasant modern décor, TV with English language channels and mini-bar. There are two specially adapted disabled rooms. Bar and small lounge downstairs with large restaurant and terrace in the summer, and a heated outdoor pool. Ample external parking. This is a good quality, good value hotel for a stay visiting the châteaux of the Loire, situated in a very pleasant town and a calm and relaxing environment.

our visit was just an over night stop but very enjoyable. The location is excellent and an easy walk into the town were the parking is limited. We had an evening meal that was also excellent and a reasonable price. Breakfast was also very good. The only slight negative would be that the rooms was a little tired and could do with a bit of TLC but overall very good value for money and we would certainly stay there again
Ideal Hotel for visiting Chinon.Very basic room facilities and a little tired. Didn't try breakfast but evening meals very good and not expensive. Certainly stay there again. Check bill at end of stay !
very friendly staff. Good to have a swimming pool and pool table to use. Would recommend it to anybody else or stay there again if returning to same area.
A good quality hotel with great views of the Chataeu at night. Well located in relation to the Chinon village. With a good restaurant, and great breakfast.
Nice place, as an additional service we were lent bikes free of charge to pedal up to the village and take a tour along the river. The staff were very friendly and gave us good recommendations for dinner.
The hotel was more than adequate and efficient. It is located with what must be the best view of the ramparts of Chinon castle, being across the river, a couple of hundred yards behind the public swimming pools, on the south side of the river. It was a good place to spend a night on our journey around the area. It is obviously a hotel catering for the business traveller where you can have an enjoyable, no-hassle stay whilst engaged with other things.

The hotel is perfectly situated away from the noise and traffic of the centre of Chinon, but still within easy walking distance. The view from our balcony was a piece of the beautiful meadows that make up the Loire valley. The hotel building itself represents one of the more pleasing modern designs that I have encountered, and the staff were, without exception, pleasant and helpful.
