Getting there:Located on the eastern side of Kangaroo Island in the Township of American River. American River is quiet even by Kangaroo Island standards. From the ferry or airport terminal the drive to American River, where All Seasons Kangaroo Island Lodge is situated, is 30 minutes. From the American River turnoff on the Penneshaw - Kingscote Road, drive straight ahead - We are located on the left hand side Scenic Drive, between Bayview Road and Ryberg Road. For ferry, coach or shuttle bookings please check with one of our friendly Reservations staff or Sealink. Rex flies to the Island daily. Hertz and Budget have hire cars available.
Check-in Procedure:Check in 2.00pm - Reception closes after 8pm. To check in after this time please contact the hotel before your arrival day for instructions.
Car parking:Car Parking Ample free off-street parking is provided. Set down area for coach & private vehicles adjacent to reception.

We arrived late with no other dinner option and hotel did not even offer a sandwich. One of our party paid the extra for a cooked breakfast, it was disgusting, very greasy and totally unappetising. Reception on departure however was incredibly helpful and full of interesting facts on what to visit on the island, this redeemed the lodge slightly. Will not be back. Did however enjoy going down and spending time with the pelicans
The staff were excellent! We had our 1 yr old daughter with us and the manager was going to go to her own house to get a blanket for her. The room was rustic, the breakfast was very good, and the view was great!

Enjoy panoramic Eastern Cove water views in this spacious Waterview Room. It is large and luxurious and features rammed earth walls in ochre tones, a King-Size bed, a sofa bed, large LCD TV, reverse cycle air-conditioning and a kitchenette. Time to relax.
Very good food in their dining room
Quiet location. Basic, clean room. Good restaurant. Only complaint is lack of water pressure in shower - hopeless.
Given the difficulties in transportation within the island, it is unacceptable that the hotel does not have a shuttle service (at least is what we were told)

Excellent services and the best restaurant in KI, good location and staff are well trained to be very friendly.
