Hotel Amista Asagaya is established in 1994. It is not large and spacious hotel but providing its warming hospitality for guest. Our hotel is located at Asagaya Area, only a minute walk from Minami-Asagaya station on Subway Marunouchi Line which is only 6 stops(11 minutes ride)from Shinjuku Station.

Getting there:From Narita Airport-Nrita Express(approx.100 min./JPY3110) or Airport Limousine Bus(approx.90 min./JPY3000)-Shinjuku Station From Shinjuku Station-Subway Marunouchi Line(approx.11 min./JPY190)-Minami-Asagaya,then 2 minute walk from exit. From Tokyo Station(terminal of bullet train)-Subway Marunouchi Line(approx.30min./JPY230)-Minami-Asagaya Station.

frendliy, nice staff, close to subway
i like the location of the hotel though it isn't in town , it only takes 20 mins to get to shijiku including the walking time to the station. Moreover the metro line ( subway ) pass by many interchange station that you can easily get to place of interest . overall we had a pleasant stay

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The room was somewhat small, but bigger than I expected, and you don't really need any extra room. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was pretty nice. It also came with all the necessities, like razors and toothbrush and toothpaste. It's really close to the subway and it's also rather close to the train station- it's a really nice walk there.
My wife liked the massage chair but since the floor where it is located is for women only, I'll have to take her word for it. There are lots of shopping and eating establishments nearby. The room size was small but that seems to be the standard for Tokyo.
It's very close to the underground station and have a very good service
This hotel is not so convenient if you are only using JF Yamamote line (as the Asagaya Station along this line is quite far away from the hotel). The major consolation is that this Asagaya station is within the Central area of Tokyo. As I arrived early, the reception was nice and let me check-in and drop my bags around noon without having to pay extra charge, instead of insisting on 3PM check-in.
Hotel Amista is located two blocks from a subway stop in a moderately quiet community about 10 minutes from Shinkjuku. The staff is very friendly and have moderate English abilities. The hotel is clean and fairly modern with free Internet in the rooms.
