"A two star establishment very close to the Bridge of Sighs and St Mark's. The room was small but adequate and very clean. The bathroom was likewise very small. No TV in the room, but there was a big screen unit in the lounge.
Our room overlooked an alley with some cafes, which were noisy. However the windows shut out the sound, and the room was air conditioned.
There is a tiny lift but a steep flight of steps from the front door to reception, and the lift doesn't stop at every floor. This is not a wheelchair friendly establishment.
On the other hand, the staff were very friendly and obliging.
My brother was staying at another 2 star near Piazzale Roma, at the Trovatore was definitely superior, at a similar price. We would happily stay there again on our next visit to Venice." - Paul Fisher
