rooms are very noisy, especially when you are there at the same time as a bus of kids! In general you still get a good value for the money you pay
Small bathroom, no dinner available and a fair way from the centre of Stassbourg. Found a great pub nearby so no real problem for us.
The hotel is situated in a very quiet place close to the train station in Lingolsheim. The centre of Strasbourg can be reached within 20-25 minutes by bus and tram.
Good hotel in a lovely small town. Room size was a little small, but the price was very low for one night. Breakfast was quite good.
Very good for the price. very close to train and bus stop and only 15 minutes to the city. no thrills, but if you just need a room for one night, it's very good.
Okay, so this isnt the most attractive place I have stayed but the room was clean and had been refurbed to an average standard quite recently by the looks. Main problem was the smell of smoke in the room which I absolutely hate. The hotel is undergoing some upgrading (Jan 08) which it needs to bring it out of the early 80's. Aside from that the breakfast buffet was okay and the internet pc was free to use, the service in the restaurant was nonexistant and minimal at the reception desk but no big deal. Adequate for a one night stay and the rate was very good.
correct and efficient hotel near the city of Strassbourg (7km) pleasant and unproblematic stay nice & complete breakfast buffet
Clean Room OK - shower effectively non-existent because no curtain, thus bath necessary followed by careful use of shower. There is no restaurant Breakfast limited (croissant, pain au chocalat, bread rolls, ham, cheese, yogourt, coffee, tea, cereals), but probably OK for the price of the room. Parking in front of hotel very limited (about 7 spaces). Most is behind the hotel in a semi-well-lit lot - it is effectively enclosed, but would be easily entered by a determined thief. Next to bus terminus and railway station. Provided the price was right, we would return. Driving in strasbourg is a nightmare!!
Hotel was very basic but clean. Rooms small but do have own bathroom facilities Minimall Food Served on premises except basic contionential breakfast. Not close to city so need own transport or to catch bus/train.
About a 10 minute drive from the center of Strasbourg, but very near to a train station (good running times during the week). Breakfast on a Sunday morning had the usual layout but quality was a bit lacking. Also, this hotel is located in the town of Lingolsheim, not Strasbourg proper, so be aware when following directions.
Great breakfast!
Breakfast was adequate and plentiful if uninspiring. Hotel a bit difficult to find - small signs as you go along the main road lead you to the correct side street, but it's not immediately obvious that you have to go down a further even more minor road to find the hotel. (To make matters worse, I was searching at night!) It is near a station, so a bit noisy in the early morning. Don't make the mistake of using viamichelin.com and omitting to mention that the hotel is in Lingolsheim. There are two examples of Rue De La Gare Aux Marchandises and I was directed to the other one, and had it not been for an extremely kind Strasbourger who led me across the city, I would still be searching for it! Having found it, I would use it again!
Staff are very helpful - good for short stay if travelling around - no tea/coffee in rooms - only breakfast - no bar or restaurant - good for local train into city, yet watch times
It takes approx. 40 mins on a bus and then a tram to get to the centre of town. Apart from the location, the people working there were really nice!
Hotel was ok, breakfast basic, staff friendly, 20 minutes from city centre of Strasbourg, rooms pretty small.
Friendly and convenient. Not centrally located but you can reach Strasbourg (railway station) in only 7 minutes by train (station at 200m). Good internet connection available by reception.
The front desk was very very nice and helpful.
The hotel is generally clean and comfortable. The breakfast is the basic one and i would recommend it to others.
pricing very interesting thanks to the website's offer. small hotel located in a quiet area close to strasbourg.
Free internet access is fantastic and staff were very helpful. Close to train station and quick trip into Strasbourg.
