Hotel Bel Oranger Republique Paris

Close to Metro, Internet cafes, Many Restaurants around the Republique area. Close to train stations Gare de l"Est et Gare du Nord. Laundromat just down the road. The shuttle to and from the airport was really practical especially with luggage.

I only stayed a few hours in this hotel - arrived very late at night and got up early to catch the Eurostar from Gare de Nord back to England. The location is not very near Gare de Nord as I was led to believe! It is 20 minutes walking distance from the railway station or two underground stations if you take the metro - a bit awkard if you have heavy suitcases. Apart from that, everything was fine. The room given was small but cosy and clean, and the staff generally accommodating and helpful. Would appreciate if the hand-held shower head at the bath tub could be fixed to the wall. Only real regret was being told that there was only one hairdryer for the whole hotel which was why it was not available to us during our stay as it was already with another room. Otherwise, had a pleasant stay there and would recommend it to the not overly fastidious.

A small standard hotel. Nothing special about the facilities except it is really quiet at night.

Staff were extremely helpful and spoke a good level of English. Would stay again despite the tiny sized rooms.
