For an average 3-star this was a very good choice and had a lot of character. I would stay there again and would recommend.

The hotel is modest but is well-located and quiet. What makes the difference is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We would certainly recommend this hotel.
The location in the Ribeira is excellent - close to the Duero and shopping. The service at the hotel was exemplary. My friend had a toothache and the front desk clerk recommended his own dentist who fitted her in and fixed the problem. Breakfast was good. Very good value for money.
The hotel is well situated for visiting the main city sites. The airport bus even dropped off outside the hotel! Friendly staff with excellent English.
Staff at the Bolsa could not have been more friendly or helpful. A pleasant experience that we experienced everywhere that we went in Porto. Rooms small but spotlessly clean and very comfortable, even watched the Simpsons in German, superb. Recommended for anybody travelling to Porto who would like to stay in the charming old town, A1.

Terrific value for such a central location. Subsidised parking nearby, too. I always stay here when I'm in Porto.
