Very nice older style hotel, well kept up, friendly helpful staff and great location

Very lovely hotel - our third stay here. Excellent location (very easy to find, follow signs to 'la gare' off the motorway), very clean and tidy, breakfast very good, as was the meal we had in the bistro attached to the hotel (try the steak or the chicken/ham pie - exquisite)...ideal for an overnight stay, and well discounted on this site, which included breakfast.

A welcoming hotel, conveniently located to the central railway station and taxi rank, yet providing a quiet night's sleep. It is on the edge of a charming neighbourhood, full of good restaurants and small shops. We stayed for seven nights and would highly recommend it.

The breakfast was not very good. We can not speak any french. We tried to ask the first day, but we ended up with cold eggs, so the breakfast was the bad part of the staying in Angers.

Good breakfast - much more choice than the usual croissant and bread. Food in the attached bistro was also good. We stayed during the Rugby World Cup and the staff were all very interested in our stay and the rugby matches. Hotel is seconds away from Angers St Laud train station with numerous boulangeries and restaurants close by. Highly recommended.

The hotel was perfect for our short stay in Angers and all the staff were helpful. The rooms would benefit from tea making facilities but apart from that, all was fine. The choice for breakfast was more than adequate and i would certainly reccomend the hotel to anyone i knew who was staying in the area

Near the station, so lots of traffic from a fairly early hour. Restaurant perfectly acceptable and food ok.

receptionist on check-in was positively unfriendly, all other staff I encountered were perfectly pleasant. The bathroom floor was slightly sticky.

Friendly staff, good restaurants and a great location.

It wqs a pity that there were no parking spots in front or neighbourhood of the hotel. So you have to be aware of punishment by active police.

Parking arrangements disappointing. Would have appreciated coffee/tea making facility in room as well as an iron. Location in city centre a bonus as well as on-site choice between restaurant & bistro.

Good value for money hotel, helpful staff and within easy walk of the town center and palces to see.

We had a twin room, very nice room, huge bathroom, very nice front desk staff.

Hotel staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. The location was very good as we were so central to Angers.

100% better than the average overnight stop - beautifully clean and tidy hotel, with a cracking breakfast, friendly, helpful staff at an exceptional price, easy to find (directly opposite station, just follow 'le gare') - would highly recommend...thanks.
