Great location on left bank and close to everything, walking to Musee d' Orsay, Louvre etc. Junior suite worth having for extra space.
Excellent support from staff. Appreciated the free use of the internet, especially as we were caught by the Icelandic volcanic ash. Suggested improvements: hot water availability in room for drinks.
A lovely Bijou Hotel in the best district of Paris. Away from it all yet centrally located and in walking distance of all the sights. The local RER station will take you directly to Charles De Gaul airport, Gare du Nord and Stade de France. Iconic eateries Cafe De Flore and Brasserie Lipp are just around the corner.
nice and conveniently located in the heart of rive gauche
The location - 4 blocks from the Louvre, in the heart of the Latin Quarter, surrounded by galleries and cafes - was incredible. The price was great too, 109 euros per night, about 100 less than other hotels in the area. I was a little disappointed with the condition of the bathroom - doors wouldn't close, moldy shower, etc., but it was otherwise charming, even for the basic standard room. Parking in the private garage across the street is a bonus too, and the staff spoke fluent English and was helpful.
I stayed there with another female in March, and we felt very safe. The hotel seems to be tucked into a building, as the stairs seemed to be a bit of a maze, but we had a lovely odor free experience. The front desk attendants were very helpful, though it would be useful to know a bit of polite French.
This is a boutique hotel in an excellant location in Saint Germaine. Easy walk across to the Louvre and the Musee d Orsay just around the corner. Plenty of places to eat nearby with an excellant bakery next door. Rooms are a little small, but time spent at the hotel is limited as we were out early in the morning and back only to sleep at night. Very clean room and bathroom. friendly staff. I would stay here again as it is great value.
Thay charge us for 60 euro ineexsistante upgrade and 48 euro for breakfast ; so is not very good deal; hotel is nice;
A nice, quiet hotel, but right in the liveliest part of Paris. Rooms not that big, but no bother. If I go to Paris again, I will stay here again.
Information should state that wi-fi must be paid extra. When I booked this hotel I booked it because it had wi-fi - but this was subject to an extra cost.
The service wasn't average but the lack of room servive and coffee/tea facilities in the room prevents me from rating it as "good". I know it's not unusual in Paris but keep wishing it'll change soon.
Very nice hotel, central location, would recommend
Location was excellent and the desk staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom had a towel with a hole in it, and we were charged 2.50 Euros for a local phone call. So I guess we were satisfied, but not thrilled.
A good basic hotel. Staff speak excellent english and are really helpful.
The location was perfect.
A gem of a little hotel, in a fantastic location just moments from the Boulevard St Germain. Five minutes walk from the river, ten minutes walk from the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, etc. Lovely interior, very helpful and friendly staff, and in the deluxe rooms the bathrooms are superb.
The hotel was excellent value for money, given the location (within very easy walking distance to the Louvre etc). We had a number of large bags and were given a larger room on check in. Breakfast was also very nice.
Very friendly and helpful staff
I was staying with my two daughters at Academie Hotel beginning November. The hotel location was excellent, but the room was small (we had a deluxe-room). Good breakfast, nice and helpful staff.
Staff were very pleasant with a good sense of humour.
