"The hostess was very kind (though restrained, so typically French) and put up with having to repeat everything as a result of my attempts to practice my poor knowledge of French. Arriving at 1.30 in the evening was no problem at all. During our stay, both her and her husband immediately attended to all our wishes. The breakfast by the pool was very nice and the coffee was great! The house could perhaps do with just a little but of touch up but it is full of charm. The surrounding is also very nice and has a lot of space and therefore a lot of potential for perhaps some more facilities (a tennis court, maybe?). The house is near the main road running along the coast but there is no noise at all, and just across the road, there is a very nice beach with great restaurants and a popular club. All in all, a very nice stay. But remember, this is not a hotel-like luxury accommodation. This is for those who want the old-French charm. " - Ivan Despic

The hotel "la Vierge Noire" is a calm and charming provençale styled hotel with 3 stars comfort located at Sainte-Maxime (4km from the centre town), in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
We welcome you all the year round in a pleasant environment and a privileged place : the large sandy beach "la Nartelle" is in front of the hotel and many activities are proposed in the vicinity.
The hotel offers 11 comfortable rooms with direct-line phone, satellite television, small fridge, bathrooms, W.C... Some have the sea view, others have a balcony or a patio.
You will enjoy having a rest at our swimming pool. You will also discover our large shady park : 5600m² of Mediterranean vegetation and our private, closed and supervised parking. |
