"The reviews I read before going were very mixed. The outcome is what I expected - you get what you pay for! This is pretty cheap for Paris. My only negaitive comment is that I booked a twin room for myself & my son. When we arrived, we were given 2 singles. Usually that wouldn't be so bad but these rooms were tiny! To use the wc, you have to adjust your clothing and reverse in! On our last night we were given the twin room which was much better. On the plus side, the staff were extremely friendly (well most of them). Most can speak some English (but it's always polite to try French first!). It's very well situated, with a good selection of restaurants close by. And right next to a Metro station so it's dead easy to find - out of the metro and just around the corner (next to an Italian restaurant). If you're travelling on a budget, from Charles de Gaulle Airport, take the Air France bus to Arc de Triomphe and get on the metro at Charles de Gaulle Etoile, then change at Villiers." - Philip Gibbs
