Hotel Equatorial Ho Chi Minh City

Great hotel with very comfortable beds, great pool and buffet breakfast very good.

The hotel service level is excellent esspecially the restaurant area. They provide excellent food at reseanable price and the staff/server is with high service level.

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Equatorial Ho Chi Minh. The room was cozy and comfortable. Amenities were complete. Though the hotel was relatively far from District 1, the free shuttle service was a big help to us. Loved the food and service at their seafood restaurant, Orientica though it was quite expensive.

Very hospitable and helpful staff ever ready to assist in whatever way possible. Would recommend the hotel even though it is located outside District 1.

As a relatively new hotel, the condition seemed a bit dated. However, staff spoke good English and were courteous. A brand new seafood restaurant in the hotel offered excellent food. Breakfast selection was fantastic. Room was big enough but music in the hallway was intrusive, we had to remind the front desk to turn down the music on a few occasions. Location is a bit far from the city centre District 1, however, convenient free shuttle service was provided. All in all, if we visit Ho Chi Minh City again we would consider staying at this hotel again.

We found the concierge service to be first rate (organising flights/transfers etc) however it was a little disapointing that once you had completed your stay other staff didn't seem interested in helping you with any queries etc. Food was very good but would appreciate menus indicating prices in dong as well as US dollars.

Staff were very pleasant, helpful and most efficient. Messages were accurately taken and laundry came back in record time - even when on normal service. Rather fun being in a "real" part of the city rather than the more glamorous city Center area.

Beautiful room and facilities, nicely maintained, staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is very good. The location is outside of the central shopping areas (closer to the airport), but the free hotel shuttle offsets this inconvenience somewhat, and the metered taxi fares are reasonable). The spa is a wonderful option to help erase the stresses of the day's shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Service. We arrived 4 hours before check-in but were in our room after waiting only 30 minutes. Facilities were excellent, we made good use of the swimming pool, swim-up bar, and gym. Was a little far from District 1 although it was easy enough and cheap enough to catch a cab.

Good hotel with very good japanese kitchen. Very nice staff who were always helpful.

Although in District 5, it's just on the edge of District 1. So, the location is good and the facilities are fantastic with a good gym and a lap pool. Definitely the place to stay for respite from the bustle of HCMC.

Hotel Staff were very helpful and we had a very pleasant stay there

Located about 20 minutes away from the airport and close to the major sites in Saigon. Nice swimming pool and wet bar outside and casino-style bar on the Lobby floor. Breakfast buffet was about standard for Asian hotels. Free shuttle service allows guests to see most of the sights and pickup stop near the Opera is in walking distance of the riverside, cafes and souvenir stores. Good choice if just transiting through Saigon on the way back from Vietnam's beach resorts.

Everyone was nice and we enjoyed our stay. The location was a bit far from downtown but the hotel provided a van to take us back and forth which was nice. The food at the buffet restaurant was excellent. We have lived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the past 4 years. Though all the food at this restaurant was excellent the hamburger was the best we have had since we left America to live abroad.
