Hotel Equatorial Kuala Lumpur

Nothing too negative nor positive about this hotel though the facade is a tad old. The rooms are pretty alright but could be better in terms of cleanliness. The bathtub in my room still has some stains when I checked in but not a big deal if one is not too picky. A big drawback however is the expensive internet access which is complimentary in most of the other hotels nearby.

In general is a good hotel, my experience was nice, i've lost my camera at the lobby and the hotel staff return to me later, good attendance...

Although outside apprearance was a little tired, we totally enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was clean, staff were friendly and total value for money. It's location to the twin towers was easy walking distance as well as some nice bars and restaurants. Would stay again.

At the promotion price it is good value for money. This hotel is highly recommended for its location and service.

The staff at the Hotel Equatorial went out of their way to ensure all our needs were covered. I would definately suggest this hotel to anyone. Only suggestion would be for them to have king size beds. The club access was excellent.

Good location to KLCC and Bukit Bintang. Near the LTR monorail so transport is convenient. Clubs aplenty around the hotel making it easier to get back after a all nights out. Service was ok although housekeeping took a while to come to clean up the room. Friendly staff and good coencierge service. Rooms were nice, clean and tidy with everything in good condition. Had a great stay and will be willing to come again.

It is a spacius hotel but the furniture/design is old. The price is reasonable and location is great.

Best hotel i stay in no complaints at all food excellent GYM excellent staff more than Excellent your stay starts at the entrance with every staff friendly and smiling and everyone says hi food is excellent try the corned beef sandwitch on RYE and the mushroom soup you wont find better

Concierge counter staff are friendly and helpful. overall experience has been positive.

The location is excellent (5-10 mins walk from Bukit Bintang and KLCC) and overall the hotel was a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was wonderful, except I don't think smoking should be allowed in the dining room. The fitness centre was unattended at one stage, so I couldn't get a towel or locker key for quite some time. The concierge was also helpful in providing a map. I would definitely stay again! Excellent 4-star hotel!

Location is super good..just 7 mins walk to Twin towers and KL Tower. Swimming pool, sauna, steam room , gym are also very good..On our arrival, we were upgraded to the deluxe room from double room,,In summary,,IT IS VALUE FOR MONEY.....must Stay:-)

An older facility but comfortable. I had just stayed at a similarly priced hotel with the same star rating in Thailand and this one was not as good. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Hi, Staff were confused about the triple room arrangement. Although all payment was made prior, they were asking for payment for the extra bed. The reception took some time to confirm with another staff member while i was kept waiting. At the meantime I have to catch a plane. When asked to help book a taxi to the terminal, I was told that taxis are easily available and there was no need to book. When I checked out early int he morning, I found out otherwise - real confusion and discrepancy in information. I found that staff however friendly were not very informative about various matters.

Great location for the Twin towers, close to Monorail, decent balance of class, location, value. Pool ok, service slow by some standards, but all relative. Safe to say nothing happens quicly.

Overall satisfactory. The staffs are generally friendly & helpful except the front desk staffs. Thought i have indicated preference on non-smoking room during reservation, she still asked me whether is ok to accept a smoking room. After given her a definite no-go, she had upgraded me to a non-smoking room on executive floor. However, when I entered the room, I found out it was a smoking room fitted with ash tray & smelly. Eventually, she gave me another room on the same floor, but she did not look please. For hotel of this standard, this service level is not acceptable, and because of her attitude, I will not stay with this hotel again.

The room was OK but the carpet was a little dirty, should had vacuumed better. Not really conveniently located, took us about 10 - 15 minutes walk to the busy tourist shopping area.

Clean room. Good location, center of the city, walking distance to major shopping malls. I would stay here again if the price is right.
